Master Classes 2008-09

Presented in cooperation with the Islip Arts Council

Selected student musicians (through grade 12 attending school in Nassau, Suffolk or Queens County) perform for celebrated musicians and principal players who appear as guest artists with the Philharmonic. This is an invaluable opportunity to work with some of the world's finest musicians.
Participation is limited and requires a teacher recommendation.

Are you or your child a student of a musical instrument? You can learn simply by watching as top Long Island students receive professional coaching. You are invited to attend and observe one or more of the Philharmonic Master Classes, led by leading professional artists.

For more information about participation or to attend as a member of the audience, contact the Director of Education and Community Engagement.
