Become a Music Mentor
You, someone you know, and local businesses can give the musical experience of a lifetime to Long Island’s school children.
Concerts:
• Send young listeners (grades 1-8) to a Philharmonic Youth Concert
($8/student for study materials, no charge for teachers/chaperones)
• Send a band, orchestra, chorus, an academic class, or a school club
(grades 7-12) to a Classics Concert ($5 per student, teachers/chaperones)
Ensemble school visits:
• Bring a Philharmonic string, woodwind or brass ensemble to your local school
for a performance, workshop or residency ?(ensembles perform at all grade
levels; cost varies with size of ensemble)
