Arts-In-Education
The Orchestra is dedicated to working with the community to provide quality music education for Long Island children. Reaching over 30,000 students, educators and parents annually, the Arts-in-Education Program includes a variety of presentations in the schools and in concert halls.
The Philharmonic believes that parents and organizations such as the PTA and B.O.C.E.S. which play an integral role in bringing cultural events to the schools should be informed and acquainted with programs designed to encourage a cultural partnership between parents and their children, with their schools and with the Philharmonic, in order to nurture Long Island's cultural environment and to educate our young people.
